Fixed Fixed Bridge X-ray
This dental xray shows a bridge restoration in the posterior region of the mouth. This is a fixed-fixed bridge with the premolar and second molar teeth being the retainers, and the first molar being the pontic (missing tooth). It can be seen that on the distal aspect of the molar bridge retainer the margin is not flush with the tooth surface, thus causing a food trap which can lead to tooth decay.
